The two 5-1 teams, the Crusaders and Pretend I'm Not Here, played this week.  The Pretend suffered an unusual down week for them, ending a four week 100+ point streak, to fall 37-10.  The win gives the Crusaders their best first half record since 2000.

Unlike the Pretend, the MeggaMen did not have an off week.  They continued their recent dominating performances.  They have scored over 142 points each of the last three games.  Only one team this year has even posted POTENTIAL scores of 142 (Pretend I'm Not Here, 3 times).  Needless to say they easily defeated the Whiskey Tango, 52-0.  They had three defensive players get Pick-6s to score an amazing 88 points.  They move into a tie with the Pretend.  Those two teams meet next week to play for control of the White Division.

Hanging a game back in the White Division, the Sacks On the Beach advanced to 4-3 with a 55-40 victory over Sean Taylor's Ashes.  The Sacks were pushed to victory with Danny Woodhead's 23 points.  I mention that only because the 13-year-old in me laughs everytime I hear his name.  Heh, Heh, you said Woodhead.

Tim's team isn't the only Burgundy Division team that had trouble.  The Norsemen fell short against the Fighting Squirrels, 13-6 and the Amish Electricians lost to the Gallic Warriors, 41-18.  In both cases the Gold Division team has won two in a row against the Burgundy team, after a five year stretch of the streak being the other way.  With losses above them the Mansfield Onanists beat the Woodland Rangers, 9-0, to move into a four-way tie for the division.

So at the mid-point in the season, the Crusaders hold a three game lead in the Gold division.  The Burgundy Division is all locked up at 3-4, like last year's NFC South a team with a losing record might win.  The White Division has the toughest battle, with the three best teams (according to Power Rank) all within a game of each other.  This week features four different divisional match-ups.
