MeggaMen Take Control of White Division
The MeggaMen took a two game lead over the rest of the division with a dominating victory over the Woodland Rangers. The Rangers mustered a paltry 18 offensive points and fell to 1-7. The MeggaMen got 22 points from the San Francisco offensive line and another 21 from Matthew Stafford. Between week 1 and this week the MeggaMen have out scored the Rangers 108-8 this season. With the loss the Rangers are mathmatically eliminated from the division title.
Helping the MeggaMen to their two game lead were the Crusaders beating the Pretend I'm Not Here, 47-9. Both teams move to 5-3. The Pretend have now lost four straight to the Crusaders and seven of the last eight. The Crusaders keep pace with the Gallic Warriors, who beat the Sacks on the Beach, 27-15. Peyton's worst game of the season still netted him 23 points, he has a bye next week. The Warriors hold a slim half game lead over the Crusaders.
Over in the Burgundy Division, the Norsemen and the Ravaging Camel Clutch played for first in the division. The Norsemen came out on top 54-35. The Norsemen were helped out by Calvin Johnson's 40 point game, the fouth best ever by a WR. The RCC have now lose three straight to the Norsemen, the meet again in week 14 to end the season. The Norsemen move into first by themselves because the Mansfield Onanists got shutout by the Whiskey Tango. The Onanists have never defeated the Whiskey Tango. In the final game, the Werewolves beat the Fighting Squirrels for the fourth straight time.
Next week is another large bye week with six teams on byes including Denver and San Francisco. The only game between teams at or above .500 occurs when the Mansfield Onanaists met the RCC. Both teams are on two game losing streaks. The other games include the Sack on the Beach trying to end their four game losing streak as they take on the Norsemen. The Fighting Squirrels try to get back to .500 as they take on the MeggaMen. The Woodland Rangers try to get back on track against the Pretend. The other two games will have large implications for the Gold Division, Whiskey Tango vs the Crusaders and the Gallic Warriors vs the Werewolves.
