Peyton Wins Another One for Gallic Warriors
In a battle for first in the Gold Division, two 6-3 teams met. Behind Peyton Manning's 32 point game, the Gallic Warriors were victorious, 47-34. It's the first time the Warriors have swept the Squirrels since 2008. The Warriors move to 7-3, tied for the best record in the league.
In his game against Tom, Warren tried an unusual strategy of playing with a OL that was on bye. Of course it didn't work. The MeggaMen won, 36-13. Silly Warren and his collection of injured QBs.
The struggling (and unlucky) Sean Taylor's Ashes are attempting to show some form of respectability as they met playoff hopeful Sacks on the Beach. The Sacks fall off the base by losing 39-7. The team they are chasing for the division, the Pretend I'm Not Here, gained a game on them by beating the Woodland Rangers for the fifth straight time. This time 43-21.
In the battle for the Burgundy Division, the Mansfield Onanists fell to the miserable Norsemen, 41-17. This allowed the Joe Gibbs Good Head to tie for the division lead as they crushed the Crusaders 86-0. The Crusaders left 72 points on the bench in the form of Aaron Rodgers and the Seattle OL, plus an addition -2 with a TE on a bye. That still wouldn't have been enough.
With four games left the playoff races are very much open. The tie in the Burgundy division looks like it might come down to week 14. The Good Head take on the Woodland Rangers who are trying to avoid a second straight Toilet Bowl. The Onanists play the Whiskey Tango, as Warren tries to stay relevant in the wild card race.
In the White Division the Pretend have a chance to take a commanding lead in the division if they can win over the MeggaMen. While the Sacks take on the Crusaders, both teams need wins to avoid dropping back in both the division and the crowded wild card. Meanwhile the Gallic Warriors continue pursuit of their first division title as they take on the Norsemen, while the Squirrels play Sean Taylor's Ashes.
