Playoff Races Tighten

Aaron Rodgers sits on the bench, right where Hall has left him for the last three weeks.

Last week's games clarified the playoff race quite a bit.  The closest game had the Mansfield Onanists beating the Whiskey Tango, 13-7.  Warren's strategy of playing TE on a bye failed for the second straight week.  The Crusaders also had trouble getting a valid lineup for the second straight week.  That coupled with them leaving the number three scoring QB on the bench dims their playoff hopes.  They lost to the Sacks on the Beach 52-32.

With the Sack win, the Pretend are under pressure at the top of the White Division.  They fell to the MeggaMen, 61-46.  The Joe Gibbs Good Head stayed tied atop the Burgundy Division with a 53-0 shutout of the Woodland Rangers.  The Fighting Squirrels also scored a shutout against Sean Taylor's Ashes, 9-0.  And in the shocker of the week, the Norsemen beat the Gallic Warriors, 30-1.

Going into the last three weeks of the season there are six teams realistically in the running for the playoffs.  The Good Head and the Onanists are tied in the Burgundy, while the Gallic Warriors and Squirrels are tied in the Gold.  The Sacks trail the Pretend by only half a game.  The Crudsaders, Whiskey Tango and MeggaMen still have way outside shots at the playoffs but all three need to win out and get lots of help.  The Toilet Bowl race is most likely down to the other three teams (Norsemen, Sean Taylor's Ashes and Woodland Rangers) who rae all at 3-8.

In the final bye week of the season, the biggest game on the docket features division leaders the Gallic Warriors and the Pretend I'm Not Here.  The other game between two playoff contenders has the Onanists vs the Sacks.  Games involving other playoff contenders include the Squirrels vs the Crusaders and the Good Head vs Sean Taylor's Ashes.  Finally, the Norsemen play the Meggamen and the Whiskey Tango take on Woodland Rangers.
