The Sacks on the Beach got 21 points out of Jeremy Hill as well as 19 out of Mychal Kendricks in route to a victory over the Gallic Warriors, 39-7.  The Sacks advance to their fifth championship game and second in three years.  The Gallic Warriors are left waiting another year for thier first playoff win.

On the other side of the bracket, the Joe Gibbs Good Head defeated the Pretend I'm Not Here, 46-13.  The Good Head go to their sixth championship game.  It is only their second playoff win since their last championship, 12 years ago in 2002.  The Pretend have been waiting almost as long, as their last win was 2003.

In the Toilet Bowl, the Norsemen proved they really did belong there.  Their entire offense was only able to manage 8 points.  The Woodland Rangers had five players that outscored the Norsemen offense.  They won the game 46-0.  It earns the Woodland Rangers their first Toilet Bowl victory in their three appearences and therefore first #1 pick.  The Norsemen suffer their second ever Toilet Bowl defeat, the previous one also being a shutout, 1-0 to ZEN in 2001.

Championship Game Preview

#1 Joe Gibbs Good Head (10-4-1) vs #2 Sacks On the Beach (9-5-1)

The Good Head have won three games in a row and six of their last seven.  The Sacks have won two in a row and have only lost twice in the last two months.  In their previous meeting the Good Head won 30-28 but the Sacks lead the all-time series 17-10-1.  They have met three previous times in the playoffs, all in the first round.  The Sacks won all three, in 2001, 2007 and 2012.

The Good Head have won two previous titles, 1998 and 2002.  The Sacks won in 2008, have had ten straighting winning season, the longest such streak in league history and have the best overall record of any franchise.  Overall the Sacks are 6-8 in the playoffs and the Good Head are 8-12.
