Where's My Flying Car?

Published: Oct 20, 2015

30 years ago Doc Brown promised me a flying car.  But here I am still waiting.  So disappointed.  So so disappointed.  Sure we have flat big screen TVs, video conferencing, wearable computers, drones, endless crappy movie sequels in 3D and the Cubs might actually win the World Series (although that one doesn't look as good today as it did last week).  But I still want my flying car.  I'm pissed.  If I see Marty around I'm going to punch him in the face.

Ok enough of that, what does Strong's Sports Almanac say about this weekend's fantasy football.  The Pretend I'm Not Here and Crusaders both move to 5-1.  The Pretend continue to benefit from Devonta Freeman's success as they beat the Fighting Squirrels 70-14.  The Crusaders beat the Gallic Warriors, 30-1.  The Pretend and Crusaders face off next week but the Crusaders will be at a disadvantage with Aaron Rodgers on a bye.

Last week the entire Burgundy Division had losing records, this week three of the teams got back to .500.  The Norsemen shutout the Whiskey Tango, 18-0, primarily off of Calvin Johnson and Jimmy Graham combining for 30 points.  Sean Taylor's Ashes overcame an activation penalty to beat the Mansfield Onanists, 20-12.  The Amish Electricians posted a strong performance with six players going double digits to defeat the Sacks on the Beach for the third straight time, winning 69-41.

Finally, the MeggaMen put up a spectacular scores, gaining 118 offense and 46 defense, to dominate the Woodland Rangers 82-0.  They had four players score 20 or more and another with 19.  But it was largest wasted on a game they were likely to win anyway.
