FLEMINGTON, NJ — Following practice on Wednesday, MeggaMen star quarterback Tom Brady was asked about the upcoming game against his former team, the Sacks on the Beach.
"I was shocked at first to learn that Mike (General Manager Mike Atlas) had released me outright but it ended up being great for me," Brady explained. "Being on a better, more professional, team like the 4-time champion MeggaMen was like going from the Brewers to the Yankees. It's the big time."
When asked if this was a "revenge game", Brady only shrugged. "I don't think so, I think they've moved on with Matt (Sacks' QB Matt Ryan) and I have as well. Sure he hasn't come close to putting up my numbers this year (Ryan is currently the 15th ranked QB in total points), but that's what happens when you don't respect your talent."
Finally, it was mentioned that Sunday is Mike's birthday and Brady concluded by saying, "Good to know, I hope he can relax, eat some cake, and enjoy watching me pile up the points then, when it's over him by halftime, he'll be able to spend the rest of the day with his family. It's win-win for everyone, well except Mike.”
