MeggaMen Win Fifth Title

The MeggaMen dominated the Sacks On The Beach to win their fifth league championship.  It is their second title in three years.  The MeggaMen took an early lead in the Thursday night game and never trailed, the final score was 64-14.  It is the largest margin of victory in a championship in league history.

The win gives Tom his fifth title, tying him with Byron for the most by an owner.  The only franchise with more wins are the Whiskey Tango with six, three each by Bobby Rainey and Warren.  Mike however has now lost a record five championship games, including two in a row and three of the last four.  They actually become the first team to lose back-to-back Championship games.

The MVP of the game goes to Brandon Marshall, his 115 yards on 8 receptions and 2 touchdowns scored him 21 points.  Enough to off-set Mike's two highest point scorers.  The MeggaMen also had four other players score in double digits.

Tom's win wraps up one of the most impressive seasons a team has put together is quite a few years.  He spent most of the season with a power ranking 25-30 points about the next highest ranked team.  Of his two losses, one was by a single point and the other was by 17 to team he defeated two other times over the course of the season.
