Protections are in.  THere are only a couple of more days until the draft.  There were a total of 82 protections, the most since dropping the protection points in 2012.  At the same time there were only 9 RBs protected by far the fewest ever.  Only a total of 5 points were left on the table.

For the third straight season the most expensive player was Adrian Peterson of the Norsemen.  His 21 point cost is the most ever spent on a single player.  The next highest protections came in at 17 points.

Since there were a total of 18 WRs taken, rule X.E.5 will be invoked and the base cost of WRs will increase next season to 12 points.  The second most protected position was, suprisingly, LBs at 13.  OL came in with the fewest at only 4 protections.

On Sunday the draft will start at 1:00 eastern time.  Try to log in early so we can start as close to on time as possible.  As usual we will have a Google Hangout set-up.  The invite will be coming from my work account since personal accounts have a hangout limit of 10 participants but business accounts can have 25.
