Mistakes By Pretend, MeggaMen Escape With Win
In the first week of byes, the Pretend I'm Not Here activated three players with the week off. The penalties and missing points was more than enough to ensure they couldn't beat a very vulnerable MeggaMen team. The MeggaMen only managed a meager 75 points, their lowest score in almost two years. But manage to keep their streak intact with a 6-0 win. They have now won 16 straight games. The Pretend have now dropped 12 in a row. Up next for the MeggaMen are the Whiskey Tango.
The Whiskey Tango picked up their first win of the season, shutting out their division rival Fighting Squirrels 13-0. Warren's win ends his nine game losing streak and 12 game streak against teams that aren't the Pretend I'm Not Here. He was bulstered by a 61 defensive score with three defensive players scoreing double digits.
In the battle between brother-in-laws Derek sends Hall to his first defeat of the season, 61-14. Aaron Rodgers being on a bye for the Crusaders didn't help, but wouldn't have been the difference. The Woodland Rangers have shown that they are certainly capable of scoring points, as they lead the league in total points scored.
The other undefeated team, the Sacks on the Beach went on to extend their record to 4-0 with a 52-28 defeat of the Norsemen. Somehow Kirk Cousins scored 16 points along with 35 points from his two WRs to lift his team to victory. The Norsemen got 23 out of a single player but otherwise struggled to score. The Norsemen remain the only team that hasn't paid their entry fee yet.
Julio Jones' 300 yard game netted the Gallic Warriors 38 points to secure their 46-11 win over the Mansfield Onanists. It is the first time that Chris has ever defeated Matt. Finally, the Sean Taylor's Ashes beat the Amish Electricians, 55-46. Matt Ryan scored 35 and Jordan Reed 18. Josh had five offensive players score 12 or more but offset that with a negative QB score.
