The MeggaMen advanced to 10-1 as they beat the Pretend I'm Not Here, 19-5. The Pretend played three players that were on byes even though they had non-bye week players at those positions on their roster. Had they played a valid roster they would have won easily. Perhaps they should be called Pretend I'm Trying to Win. Curiously, the exact same thing happend in week 4 also against the MeggaMen. Makes one wonder... The win does clinch a playoff spot for the MeggaMen. Sometimes it's better the be lucky than good.

The team that should be most upset by these events are the Woodland Rangers. They beat the Whiskey Tango, 20-8, to stay two games behind the MeggaMen for the division, but with only three weeks left, time is almost out to catch them. The Rangers are now on a franchise record five game winning streak and have ensured that this will be the best season in team history.

The other team in the White Division, the Sacks on the Beach suffered a devistating loss to the Mansfield Onanists, 26-19. The Onanists had three bye week players but managed to hold on to win. The loss puts the Sacks' playoff hopes on life support. They can't win the division and sit two games behind the wild card and lose the tiebreaker.

The Amish Electricians moved closer to securing a division title with a 57-13 victory over Sean Taylor's Ashes. It gives the Amish a 2 1/2 game lead on the division. The Amish and Ashes have now split the season series for the fourth straight season. The Amish play the MeggaMen this week, the winner will clinch their respective division.

The tight battle for the Gold Division lead got even tighter. The Crusaders defeated the Norsemen, 25-5. The Crusaders have essentially owned the Norsemen for the last nine seasons, going 8-1 in that time span. Meanwhile, the Gallic Warriors came up short against the Fighting Squirrels, 31-18. All-time those two teams are 23-23-2 vs each other. As the dust settles the Crusaders and Gallic Warrior are now tied atop the division and meet this week. Obviously the winner will have a huge edge going into the final two weeks.
