Protections Turned In, Draft Pool Set
The list of protections have been turned in and there were no big shockers. I total of 87 players were protected, which is the lowest in three seasons. The most protected position was WR, with 15. There have been at least 15 WR protections every year since 2006.
In addition to protections two of the rule proposals have passed. One that has been sitting on the rules ballot for two years, allowing the league champion to rename the Toilet Bowl loser's team. That one passed 7-2, with 1 no vote.
The other rule passing already is 2017.2, not allowing teams that have paid their entry fee to use extra transactions. It passed 7-0 with 3 people not voting.
The other proposals are still outstanding and there are three teams that have not cast a vote yet.

Finally, there are still a couple of teams that haven't paid their entry fee. The optimal method to pay is via PayPal. You can go to the accounting page to see what your balance is. If you are logged in, while on that page you should see a link to Pay Now that will immediately take you to Paypal.
UPDATE Aug 23:
Rule 2017.3 has passed 6-1, with 1 abstain and 2 no votes. Game planning will become a new strategy in the league. Issues 2016.4, 2017.1 and 2017.5 remain outstanding.
