Sacks and Amish Advance to Finals

The Amish Electricians doubled up the Fightin' Bitin' Beavers 74-37, to advance to their seventh League Championship game.  The Amish had seven players score double digits with his running backs combining for 32 points.  The Beavers managed 20 out of Devonta Freeman but fell short in most other positions.  Russell Wilson only totaled 4 points.

The other game was closer and wasn't sealed until Monday night.  The Sacks on the Beach proved victorious over the Crusaders, 43-39.  Mark Ingram scored 22 points for the Sacks.  Kareem Hunt was game planned against and was therefore held to 15 points.  The Crusaders were able to stay close because of the efforts of Rob Gronkowski and his 17 points.  Going into Monday night they needed Kwon Alexander to get 17 points.  He fell short but did post his best game of the season at 13.

In the Toilet Bowl Warren's team dominated from the very beginning.  Tim Always Pulls Out Late went on to a 88-0 victory over Sean Taylor's Ashes.  They were highly bulstered by a game planned Todd Gurley who netted 72 points.  At that point the game was basically over, as the STA came in with a combined score of only 29.  It is Warren's second Toilet Bowl victory.  He will have the #1 pick. and the STA will have their team renamed by the Champion.

 

Championship Game Preview

#3 Amish Electricians (10-5) vs #4 Sacks on the Beach (10-5)

  • Both teams are playing in their 7th Championship Game
  • All-time the Amish are 3-3 in title games, the Sacks are 1-5
  • The Sacks are playing in their fourth title game in the last six years
  • These teams met in the 2014 Championship, the Amish (then Joe Gibbs Good Head) won 36-12
  • The Sacks have won the last two meetings of these teams and lead the all-time series, 19-12-1
  • Four of those meetings were in the playoffs with the Amish winning all four
