Halfway to somewhere
Week 7 is in the books, a good win against Testudos (who admittedly were a bit unlucky) and a record of 4-3, jointly atop the Burgundy division with Norsemen and Sean Taylor’s Ashes. Halfway through the regular season and a good time to take stock of the squad and the season to date.
MVP: Matty Ice – The Iceman cometh. What a great QB this man is. NB: bye week upcoming so here’s hoping Super Sammy Darnold can do a good relief job
Honorable mention: Robert Woods – 59 points, a top 10 scoring wide receiver
Sneaky good: Joe “The mixtape” Mixon – does so many things. I predict a strong end to the season for this future HoF
A little better please: “Marvellous?” Marvin Jones. I expect more than a high of 6 points from a protected player
Worst draft pick: I think I took the Tennessee OL in round 3 or 4!!
“Get that garbage outta here” Derrick Henry. Cripes, he is bad – 1 st points last game week at Wembley but will take a lot to get him back in the team
“I must do better” Picking the right defence. Over the 7 game weeks I have only had two players hit double figures. Some players have been steady (Wesley Woodyard and Malcolm Jenkins) but I need a couple of BIG scores in the last 7 game weeks
