The 2019 WMFFL draft will be held on Saturday, August 31st.  Only one team identified this date as one they could not attend.  As usual the draft will be held at 1:00pm Eastern time on that date.  

The last time the draft was held this late in August was in 2008.  There is less than a week between the draft and opening day.  All of the preseason games will be completed by then so everyone should have a good evaluation of the players.

Protections will be due by 11:59 pm eastern time on Sunday, August 25th.  The Amish Electricians have the number one overall pick.

There is one ownership opening, that is for the Fightin' Bitin' Beavers.  Steve had decided to not return, so if anyone has someone interested in the position please let me know.
