Important Games Atop Each Division

The Crusaders had an opportunity to take a commanding lead in the Gold Division, as they took on the Fighting Squirrels.  They came in with a two game lead over the Squirrels.  For 12 seasons the Crusaders were led by Aaron Rodgers (QB-GB).  With escalating protection costs they did not protect him.  The Fighting Squirrels went ahead and drafted him in the fifth round.  This week was his first start against his old team.  And he exacted revenge for his release.  Scoring 29 points on 312 yards and 4 TDs.  With another 23 points out of Tyreek Hill (WR-KC) and double digits from four other players, the Squirrels won 60-29.  It ends the 8 game head-to-head losing streak and moves the Squirrels to within a game of first in the division.

In the Burgundy Division the Amish Electricians held a one game lead over Sean Taylor's Ashes.  After a 6-0 start the STA had dropped two in a row.  The winner of this game would have the best record in the league.  Neither team performed particularly well, with the Amish taking the game 36-25.  The Amish benefited from the previously noted Rodgers score with Davante Adams (WR-GB) netting 23 points.  The Amish end the week with a two game lead.

In the very tight White Division the Sacks on the Beach held a single game lead over everyone else.  They played the MeggaMen.  Deshaun Watson (QB-HOU) passing to Will Fuller (WR-HOU) combined for 28 points and 44 point defense to give the MeggaMen a 46-17 victory.  This brought the MeggaMen into a tie atop the division.  With the Sacks down the other two teams had a chance to enter the tie as well.  Testudos Revenge met the Trump Molests Collies and were not really close.  Josh Allen (QB-BUF) put up 34 to propel the TMC to a 63-7 victory.  For the British Bulldogs, Kyler Murray (QB-ARI) put up 30, but Patrick Mahomes (QB-KC) scored 31 for the Norsemen.  The Norsemen ended with a 43-26 win.  As the dust settled the MeggaMen and Sacks end the week tied both a game up on the other two.

In the final game, Richard Lionheart's blanked the Gallic Warriors, 45-0.  The Warriors only scored 36 points combined this week, the lowest of the season.  The loss eliminates the Gallic Warriors from the playoffs and positions them solidly in Toliet Bowl position.

The biggest game this week features the Norsemen and the Crusaders.  Both are 6-3 and pursing playoff spots.  Other games include the Amish vs the MeggaMen, both teams lead their divisions.  There are division matchups between STA and the Lionhearts, Testudos means the Bulldogs, as well as between the TMC and Gallic Warriors.  The Sacks play the Squirrels with both teams hoping to extend thier playoff chances.
