The big game of week 13 featured Sean Taylor's Ashes and Testudos Revenge.  This game was basically an elimnation game.  Sean Taylor's Ashes ran a two TE set and it paid off.  They got 29 out of George Kittle (TE-SF).  Then another 29 from Tom Brady (QB-TB).  Winning the game 57-34 and eliminating Testudos Revenge.

With that win it opened up the possibility that the STA could get earn the wild card early.  Richard Lionheart's took on the Sacks on the Beach, needing a win to remain in contention.  The SOB won by a 36-8 score to eliminate Richard.  The Crusaders also needed a win and came up short against the Gallic Warriors, 49-37.  This eliminated the Crusaders.  The Gallic Warriors were eliminated when the STA and Testudos didn't end in a tie.

With the Crusaders losing and the STA winning, the pressure was on the British Bulldogs.  They were playing the MeggaMen, whom they haven't beaten in the last 6 meetings.  This week made it 7, as the MeggaMen won 57-17 and eliminated the Bulldogs.

This combination eliminated the Fighting Squirrels from the wild card, but they still had a shot at the division.  They easily defeated the Norsemen, 44-5.  That along with the Amish Electricians 19-11 victory over Trump Molests Collies leaves the Squirrels still in contention for the Gold Division

The playoff race definitely did not play out the way I expected.  Just a couple of weeks ago it looked like the Toilet Bowl was more or less wrapped up, with three teams vying for two spots, and the wild card race looked like it would be a brutal fight to the end.  But after week 13, most of the wild card contenders gave up their shot, allowing Sean Taylor's Ashes to secure their first back-to-back playoff appearances in 18 years.  Meanwhile, there are still six teams that could end up in the Toilet Bowl.  Five of the six games this week could impact the Toilet Bowl teams.  The Fighting Squirrels could end up anywhere from winning the division to in the Toilet Bowl.  There is also a chance that we end with only two teams having records better than .500.
