Sean Taylor's Ashes and British Bulldogs Advance to 2-0
Sean Taylor's Ashes start the season 2-0 with a 55-18 victory over the Crusaders. Carson Wentz (QB-WAS) scored 25 for them and Nick Chubb (RB-CLE) netted 23. The Crusaders only managed 47 total offensive points with four players coming in with zeros, or worse. The Crusaders fall to 0-2 for the first time since 2007.
The British Bulldogs also get started 2-0, for the second year in a row. They took out Richard's Lionhearts, 41-34. The Lionhearts had a chance going into Monday night, but the Bulldogs were able to equal their score and come away with the 7 point win.
After a shocking upset in week 1, the Norsemen were looking to grab their first win. But top power ranked Testudos Revenge were looking for a second straight win. The Norsemen put up 90 offensive points but that was over-shadowed by Testudos' 104 offense. Unfortunally for Derek his defense was anemic. Stefon Diggs (WR-BUF) went wild on Monday night with 34. But with the MIN game going on at the same time, the Norsemen were able to hold off the onslaught for a 78-71 victory.
The MeggaMen picked up thier first win, after a tie last week, with a 23-0 shutout of the Sacks on the Beach. It's the sixth straight time that Tom has defeated Mike, four of those wins being shutouts.
Also picking up their first wins were the Amish Electricians with a 31-23 victory over the Gallic Warriors and the Fighting Squirrels with a 65-33 win over Trump Molests Collies.
This week both 2-0 teams face divisional opponents as the STA take on the Lionhearts and the Bulldogs meet the Testudos Revenge. The Crusaders and TMC both have tough paths to find their first win, as the Crusaders meet the MeggaMen and the TMC meets the Norsemen. Finally, the Amish play the Squirrels and the Sacks play the Gallic Warriors.
Also as a reminder, please vote on the still outstanding proposal we discussed at the draft about simplifing the rule change process.
