Last year, we agreed to realign the league for this season. The specific details were left to Tom and me to finalize. Here's the plan we've developed:

1. Seeding: Each team will be ranked based on their owner's regular season record over the past three seasons. Andrew and Steven will use only last year's records.
2. Pot Placement: The top three teams will be placed in Pot A, the next three in Pot B, and so on.
3. Assignment: During the draft, we will randomly select one team from each pot and assign it to each division. This ensures that every division has a team from each pot.

This approach will add variety while maintaining balanced divisions.

To facilitate this, the pots are grouped as follows:

* - The Crusaders and Sacks have the same record but are split between two different pots.  If those positions get drawn into different divisions then a second draw will occur to determine which team goes to which division.
